Pink Calms Violent People Down

Here is a good short video.  Walls on drunk tanks were painted pink and the most violent drunks were put in the cells.  The violence dropped off massively.

To think that something so simple as a colour would have such an effect on our minds. When I had a tenancy block it seemed a natural colour scheme for me to paint each apartment pink which i did and the tenants never had problems that I was aware of for violence etc.
It wasnt until a tenant brought her husband home from prison to live with her in their apartment that he told me how they used pink in the prisons for the very reason being suggested here in this video. Up until then, it had only been a prompting to me to use the colour scheme with no known influence from the outside world on my decision.
So there you go. The use of pink whether it be drunk tank pink or any other shade of pink obviously works.
I am amazed at the research found about this colour that I have come into contact with since.
I think it will be an interesting exercise to read his book.
